Re: The Bill's Now Playing Video Game Thread (Now with Bames
My Watch Dogs game bugged after getting killed doing a trailing mission. Lost and locked out of all my guns, skills and multiplayer with no way to regain any of it since the "game" still thinks I have them all on me/completed the online tutorials. I guess it's triggered by dying while attempting the various online modes. Heads up to anyone fiddling around with the online shit, I had no idea this wonderful game killing bug was a thing.
Looking forward to the sequel!

At this point in playing Battlefeild 4 in a hope that I get to see "Irish" die. Worst NPC ever, character wise.

i know you sometimes play shitty games, but playing BF4 and not playing the multiplayer? literally why the series exists
modern military campaigns are some of the worst ways to spend in front of a tv.
it all went downhill after COD4

dice is slowly starting to repair the damaged multiplayer fwiw
they have servers that are testing new netcode and settings to steer it closer and closer to bf3 levels of performance
i dont even know why we'd talk about the campaign though

Anyway, does this Strider game ever get good? Right now it seems more like the retarded kid on the block trying to be a Metroidvania game and clumsily making up for its obvious shortcomings with nostalgia.

damn, that blows. no earlier save state to load, or is this one of those '1 save only' games?Comrade Slinky wrote:My Watch Dogs game bugged after getting killed doing a trailing mission. yeah it's one of those autosaving all the time games by default. Might have been able to back a save up with the cloud or something before using the online modes, just never anticipated anything like this happening.

I don't know what platform you're on, but their own cloud saving system for PC is more like a random savegame deletion lottery service. I've kind of wanted to play SC:Blacklist again lately, but I'm afraid to start it up and find out Uplay has wiped my saves again.Comrade Slinky wrote:yeah it's one of those autosaving all the time games by default. not that i suspect many of you care, but the fan translation for the second Game Center CX DS game is finally done(ish). this is fairly important because one of the games is a text adventure that is nearly impossible to play unless you know japanese a whole lot better than i do.
patched it, slapped it on my acekard, boom. it also seems to work on the desmume emulator if you're into that.
if there's anybody in the world who'd be fucking unobservant enough to actually damage themselves with trap-soap I guess it'd be the guy with dialup in 2007

Don't hurt yourself like that. It's a new console generation, first in the series EA sports game aka rushed and missing content. It's going to be a steaming pile of shit. Everything looks so stiff and lacking impact.
I saw the controls and it's 4 pages, lol. Also, apparently everybody can do the Pettis showtime kick now.

i honestly think something interesting could be done with a sequel to that game. i'm not trying to give ubisoft too much benefit of the doubt or anything, but it could happen.

TECHNICALLY it's the second go at MMA by EA and last generation, I think I actually prefered the EA Sports MMA engine to the THQ one. The fight night team worked on the game and as much as the ridiculous story mode of Champion smoked pole, the series is pretty polished.spacehamster wrote:I didn't mean really.
