Considering how hard Bill knocked it out of the park during the DNC AND the fact that having already run for president most of her dirty laundry is old news, she might be just the candidate. Especially if Obama wins this time around and the economy continues to grow. If he leaves a second term with a much improved country financially, he could almost hand-pick his successor.

Interesting format tonight with two minute intros then fifteen minute discussion periods guided by Lehrer. Going back to the rope-a-dope analogy, Romney needs the two minute timer for his quips and soundbites, left to wander in the wilderness he is going to make mistakes and say stupid things, and stupid faces while Obama sits patiently watching him shred himself.

Second half of the debate, Romney will either get sleepy and let Obama give a campaign speech or get more and more irritable and interrupt him rudely, alienating the audience.

Usually the challenger does better in these first debates though, but Romney has been so inept it's hard to see that happening.

Lehrer sounds a little pissed, both of them are filibustering. Romney looks better so far, Obama is doing his professor routine but is stumbling over his words too much (lol teleprompter). Romney is going for the soundbite crowd, Obama for the fact check crowd.

The major problem with debating Romney is he can change his position every five seconds. That's Romney being consistent.
