It is probably not the same thing as the Red Bull you can buy in other countries. The majority of the soft drinks, etc. by the major corporations are brewed and bottled in Norway and they have different regulations than in say, the US. Coca-Cola, Sprite, etc. in Norway does not have the exact same formula as the one in the US, and it is probably the case with Red Bull as well. It is also worth to mention that in my experience bars that serve mixed drinks do not offer energy drinks as an ingredient in any of their cocktails.

The state has monopoly on selling any beverage stronger than 4,75% alcohol besides restaurants and bars with liquor licenses. You can only buy alcohol from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Mon-Fri and 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday. No sale on Sundays. Vinmonopolet (trans: The Wine Monopoly, usually referred to as Polet [The 'Poly]) is open 10:00 AM -6:00 M-F, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Saturday, closed Sunday. Everything is expensive is hell.

Still, alcoholism is rampant...

all the grocery stores around here just pulled it on thursday, so i had to go to the most ghetto gas station near me and try one of these.

impressions: its basically like powerade fruit punch mixed with shitty beer and wine. i think its power has been overstated by some of the ladies on the board, but i still have about half left. developing....

Man, back in HS my friends and I had this utterly stupid manhood ritual where we would listen to Sabbath and trade off shots of Everclear until only one person was left conscious. Lots of nights where Ozzy was echoing through the caverns of my utter, absolute degradation and I was left whimpering naked in the mud like an animal. It was great!

I haven't had Everclear in almost 20 years. Ended up passed out in the forest with my shoes off.

There's a certain point in the consumption of Everclear where crawling outside and sleeping in the doghouse suddenly seems like a brilliant idea. I recommend it!

post-hydrate update: i feel like i could run about 10 miles right now. farewell, four loko. i enjoyed our relationship.

Is there any sort of comedown/crash after you drink this shit?
