I still have those Mortiis albums, even though I haven't listened to them in over a decade, I keep thinking I'll be in the mood for them again someday but the day never comes, I used to have about 5 Raison D'etre CDs too! fuck, (yeah those were the days of still living with parents, a full time job and lots of disposable income)
Yes, of course they're still around (shut up), but like all other labels they've been forced to drastically slow down their release schedule as they don't have any money.
Mortiis is, and always was, fucking horrible...but I'm trying to be a completist here so I had to post his "work."
The greatest comments on Mortiis I ever read were in an interview with Douglas P from
Death in June who talked about being in a bar once and some blond, mildly fuckable girl (not for him) coming in with a "drunk, stupid Swede" who just made a total ass of himself...that idiot of course being Mortiis...
