He seems to have really lost almost all interest in making music...he was silent for a while and when he finally put something out earlier last year it was barely there...

But a lot/most of those old CMI bands lost steam or interest.

I've been listening to a lot of ambient this week so I'm probably gonna skim through some of these pages to find some more stuff. Bored, do you like any space ambient too or do you put all your metalasfvck chips in and just stick to dark ambient? I know I've posted this on the board before, but I'm not sure if I have in this thread and, honestly, I'm too lazy to check.

It's really nice to fall asleep to. The show is something like 6 hours long so you can leave it on and cruise the cosmos as you drift into sleep. It also saves you from the hassle of putting together a bedtime playlist. The mic breaks are done over the music and all the song transitions are seemless and crossfaded. He does one mic break an hour and has a voice that's perfect for the show.

This is totally old-school death-industrial replete with lo-fi noisy and rhythmic structures with great analogue sounds. These trudging slow building and changing analogue industrial noises are incredibly hypnotic and really sinister sounding.
