CMI 088 = Proiekt Hat's "Resolution 3379" package, it's useless to try to post this.
Large metal suitcase containing 6 LPs, a blank cassette tape, a t-shirt and a videocassette with Supersolid video. All four previous Proiekt Hat LPs are included, together with the fifth and final LP, plus additional bonus material featured on a sixth 12". Limited edition 100 copies only available through subscription.
But here's that last LP and EP:

Lustmord
A Document of Early Acoustic and Tactical Experimentation

The CD issue of material originally released as the first (untitled) Lustmord album on Sterile Records in 1982. Recorded at the studios of pioneering synthesizer manufacturers EMS, (Synthi A, VCS 3 etc.)

Featuring John Balance of Coil and additional voices by Nigel Ayers of Nocturnal Emissions, and Nigel Dunster.

The CD version features longer edits of some of the material, along with additional material not on the LP, including tracks from both the "Rising From The Red Sand " compilations (Third Mind 1983 & 1984)) and "The Elephant Table Album" compilation (Xtract 1983)

Some of that early stuff of his was supposed to have been recorded underground...I don't know that much about it, though...I was always curious.

I'm downloading it now, along with some stuff with the first page. I'm gonna go through this thread a bit more later, once I've pinned exactly which kind of dark ambient-ish things I like. IRM is very good, but I don't find myself listening to them very much. I think I prefer the darker, more spacious sounds that guys like Lustmord churn out. Where the Black Stars Hang is fucking gorgeous. Going to listen to Heresy in a little bit, too.

You'll probably like Inade too, then, if you haven't heard them. They're a little "lighter", IMO, though...not as absorbing.

I actually like the later Lustmord stuff a lot more.

Yeah. I've never really been drawn into the harsh noise world very much. I've listened to Whitehouse some and tried bands like IRM or NON out, but they've never made me go looking for more records. Maybe because I haven't heard the best stuff? I have to admit that I like parts of God & Beast, though. Receive the Flame wasn't half bad either. I think those are the only two NON records I still have.

Stored away somewhere I have a copy of a record by Premature Ejaculation. I want to say that was Rozz Williams's ambient project. It was called Necessary Discomforts. I liked it quite a lot actually. Wonder how it holds up...?

Yep.

I can't really listen to that stuff anymore. ;)

RE: deep space ambient, there are quite a few bands doing that now...but not many of them seem to touch what I want to hear in that genre. It's like they almost get there...

If you like the first couple of Lustmord LPs try Inade's "Aldebaran" and see what you think.

Will definitely check out Inade.

Listened to Where the Black Stars Hang, Necrose Evangelicum, and Deep Frieze yesterday, along with some stuff from the Touch label.

The SleepResearch and Lustmord were excellent, and I liked the Brighter Death Now record, even if it isn't something I'd listen to very frequently. I was surprised by how approachable it felt, probably because I expected wall to wall noise.

I was wondering why it seemed difficult to find.

I just can't fathom putting effort into making sure people don't share music older than I am.

I never really had a problem getting Whitehouse's discography. Maybe the B sides and such, but not the big releases.
